Need to retrofit early versions of the iMac to make them compatible with Airport?  You can now.  AeroPad 802.11b Wireless USB adapter from MacSense.  Also, with a plethora of USB devices available in Mac-compatible form, it's tempting to rush out and buy a USB adapter card to shove into your old Mac's PCI slot. Note, however, that these adapter card's are not strictly plug-and-play. In order for one of these cards to work in your old Mac you must have Apple's USB Card Support software and the card must comply with the Open Host Controller Interface (OHCI) standard. To determine whether your card meets these standards, check the outside of the box before purchasing the card or contact the card's manufacturer.
