Accessing your e-mail via Outlook Web Access (OWA) There are two ways to access your WUHSD e-mail via the Internet: Off Campus OR On Campus. In either case, you MUST use Microsoft's Internet Explorer (v6.x on Windows, v5.x on Macintosh). If you are "on campus" - meaning you are on the WUHS or ACE campus and already logged into a workstation - then click the "on campus" link on the HOME page or click here. Because you are already logged on, you will not need to enter your username or password again; the OWA will automatically start. If you are "off campus" - meaning you are not on either campus and are access the Internet from somewhere else (i.e., your home) - then click the "off campus" link on the HOME page or click here. You will be prompted to accept a Security Certificate: You MUST click the YES button. If you do NOT receive this certificate, you may not be able to access your WUHSD e-mail unless various settings are altered. This is discussed in Security Certificate section below. Next you will be prompted to Login. If you are offered three fields (User name, Password, and Domain), then type the same information in each field just as if you were logging into your classroom/office computer. If you do NOT have a Domain field, then you MUST append your username with "admin\" (see below) followed by your first name initial and your last name (i.e., "admin\jdoe").
If you are not prompted to accept a Security Certificate, set your Internet Explorer Security settings to their respective defaults.
If you still cannot access your WUHSD e-mail, perform a Windows Update to ensure you have the latest version of Internet Explorer and all Critical Updates. Follow the directions on the screen to accept, update, or install ALL of the Critical Updates (the first of three sections) for your version of Windows. You may be prompted to restart your computer when complete. Repeat this process until there are no more Critical Updates.
