Didn't mean to delete that file?  Try one of these utilities:

Undelete 3.0 works on NTFS works great on workstation and server.
bullethttp://www.quetek.com/prod02.htm

Do you remember WinIPCfg.exe from Windows 98?  Do you miss it as much as I did?  Here is information on the Windows NT/2000 version (or download it here).

Need help configuring your modem?  Try ScreenShot Modem Help.

System running too slow?  Try doing a cleanup.

Many geeks have suspected that Windows Server and Workstation is identical except for key registry settings...  Server to WS and vice versa and Home to Pro.

Are you the tech support at your school?  Check out Microsoft's Shared Computer Toolkit for Windows XP.  This toolkit helps to make shared computers more reliable and less time-consuming to maintain.

Do you want to complete erase a hard drive?  If you just want to make sure the data is unrecoverable, you can use one of the free "DOD Compliant" wipe systems.  Darik's Boot and Nuke is one of the
best.  This utility is also included on the Ultimate Boot CD, a must have tool for any tech.

Want to convert your Works or WordPerfect files to Word?  You will need to install EACH of the following in the order they are listed below.  When you click on the link below, select SAVE and place each on the Desktop. Once you have downloaded all three, double-click and install each.  Unfortunately, even with these installed, you will need to open each file - one at a time - from inside Word (select OPEN from the FILE menu) to have the file converted (rather than simply double-clicking the file itself). Then select SAVE AS from the FILE menu and change the TYPE to a Word Document. It's a time consuming job, but it's the ONLY way I know how without spending money.
