Are you interested in serving on the Yuba County Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA) Community Advisory Committee?  The committee focuses on Special Education programs and service delivery in Yuba County schools.  View additional CAC Info.  Call Terri Burroughs at (530) 749-4873 for more information.

Attend the Transition Task Force Meetings each month to network with representatives from other agencies working with the Special Needs population.  Your participation will be very beneficial to all of the special needs students and adults in the Tri County area.  Meetings are held the fourth Wednesday of every month at 3:00pm.  For more information please contact Caron Job at (530) 749-3276 x 102.

The WorkAbility I (WAI) program is a career awareness, exploration, and training program for special education students ages 14 to 22 in middle school, secondary education, and young adult programs.  WAI provides students with opportunities to participate in classroom career speaker presentations, job shadowing, industry tours, and career fairs.  To learn more, view the Workability I Brochure (Side 1 and Side 2).
