Have you checked out Bear River Middle School's Family Resource Center?  The FRC will help you locate Wheatland and/or Yuba County services and events.  They also have some important information about the rise of new alcohol products being sold in our area.

Are you a military family? The Defense Department has created MilitaryStudent.org that links to information, resources, and personal contacts dealing with military life, deployment, and a wealth of other issues that affect military kids.  There is an entire section devoted to parents.  You may also wish to read this article on the issue of how Military Children Hurt by Deployments.

Raising Teens (The Harvard Parenting Project) is a comprehensive review of research, with basic principles for raising teens.

Parenting Teens has excellent articles on issues around parenting teens.

40 Developmental Assets for Adolescents (a 63K PDF) — The Search Institute has identified the 40 building blocks of healthy development — known as Developmental Assets — that help young people (ages 12-18) grow up healthy, caring, and responsible.

Believe it or not, one of the biggest issues teens face is suicide.  If you would like more information on suicide preventions, one of the BEST resources on the Internet is the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.  PLEASE talk to someone (teacher, friend, family member, of church leader) if you even thinking about suicide.
