Is one of your students from a military family?  The Defense Department has created a website that links to information, resources, and personal contacts dealing with military life, deployment, and a wealth of other issues that affect military kids.  There is an entire section devoted to school educators.  You may also wish to read this article on the issue of how Military Children Hurt by Deployments.
