Expected School-wide Learning Results

ESLR (n): an interdisciplinary statement about what all students should know, understand and be able to do by graduation (a.k.a. school-wide student goals).

ESLRs represent skills so important that every student should receive instruction in these skills prior to graduation. WUHSD's ESLRs call for all students to be able to:

1. Communicate effectively in speech and writing
2. Demonstrate a basic technological literacy
3. Demonstrate higher order thinking skills
4. Demonstrate ability to read and comprehend recreational reading material as well as WHS textbooks used in required classes.
