Wheatland is centrally located for recreational activities.
Eight miles east of town sets Camp Far West Lake with 2002 surface
acres of water and 29 miles of shoreline. 153 campsites are available on 800
acres of open camping, horse, hiking & bike trails. Boat ramps are available
for boating & skiing as well as the lake is stocked with bass, crappie and
catfish for great fishing.
