By signing this document, I am
admitting that I have read and fully understand the rules and consequences of
this contract. I understand that
attending WUHS dances is a privilege and not a right, and failure to conform to
the rules for dances will result in revocation of dance privileges at Wheatland
High School. Please take note of
the following policies for dances at Wheatland High School:
- You
may purchase tickets pre-sale (for a discount) or at the door (full price).
You must have a signed dance contract on file and you may only
purchase two tickets.
- A
current year, valid WUHS I.D. must be shown at the door in order to enter
the dance. There will not be
any exceptions to this rule (i.e., lost wallet, left it at home, etc.).
Replacement ID cards can be purchased at the school office.
- All
guest pass requests must be submitted for approval no later than the
Wednesday prior to the dance. The
approved guest list will be posted by 3 PM on the Friday prior to the dance.
If your guest is not on the approved list they may not attend the
dance. Guests are required to present a current and valid I.D. card to enter
the dance. Guests are only allowed for Homecoming, Courtwarming,
Prom and Sadie Hawkins dances.
- By
purchasing a ticket to the dance, you agree to have a breath analysis,
performed by law enforcement if you are suspected by administration, to be
under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Anyone receiving a positive result on the breath analysis for alcohol
or deemed to be under the influence of drugs will be subject to the maximum
suspension from school and recommended for expulsion.
Parent contact will be made if a student has positive breath analysis
results.
- You
must follow all WUHS dance dress code policies at the dance.
For formal and semi-formal dances, please note specific guidelines on
the back.
- If
security or administration removes you from the dance for any disciplinary
actions, you will not be permitted to attend the next dance.
i.e. If you are asked to leave courtwarming and the next dance is
prom you would not be allowed to attend prom.
- Students
will follow all dance rules as stated on the back of this contract (i.e. no
freaking, no moshing, etc).
- You
must attend school on the day of the event (or the Friday prior if it is a
Saturday event)
- Doors
close one hour after the dances starts – no exceptions.
- Zero
Tolerance for freak dancing. Consider this contract your warning. If you violate any
of the dance rules you will be asked to leave the dance and not permitted to
attend the next scheduled dance.
This contract must be signed and
turned in to your advisory teacher prior to the homecoming dance.
