Sacramento State Alumni Association.  Now accepting applications for scholarships for the 2017-18 academic year.  Awards range from $1,000 to $3,000 and are awarded to incoming freshmen.  All majors should apply.  Complete instructions and application materials are available online at:  Deadline:  March 1, 2018.

 Redbud Garden Club Scholarship Program- To be eligible to apply for this scholarship you must be a high school senior planning to enroll, or you must be currently enrolled, in a 2 year or 4 year program of Environmental Horticulture, Agricultural Science, Conservation, Floriculture, Forestry or a related field. You must be accepted at an accredited educational institution, have at least a 3.0 GPA (last year only) and be a Yuba or Butte County resident. Deadline March 1, 2018

Cabrillo Civic Club of California-must be of Portuguese descent and have at least a 3.50 GPA and participate in three extracurricular activities. Instructions for applying and an application process can be found at Deadline: March 15, 2018   

Yuba College Scholarship-student who will be entering Yuba College for the first time. Deadline March 19, 2018

Bishop’s Pumpkin Farm Employee Scholarship: Students may select any field of study.  Scholarships are based on need, demonstrated scholastic ability, community involvement, leadership, and determination to succeed.  Applicants must have worked for us for at least one season (spring or fall) and be a high school senior or already enrolled at a four-year or technical school.  Deadline:  March 30, 2018

Scholarships available to students who majoring in agriculture at a four-year school that offer a degree in agriculture. Applicants will be awarded up to $3,000 each and are payable over a one to three-year period. Scholarship forms and requirements can be found at Deadline: March 31, 2018

Mary M. Aaron Memorial Trust Scholarship Fund.  Any deserving student who is in need of financial assistance in order to complete their college education is eligible, regardless of grades or participation in school activities.  There must be a family financial insufficiency in order to qualify.  Open only to Yuba and Sutter County residents who will be attending colleges or universities located within California. 

Deadline:  March 15, 2018.
John & Karin Jelavich Scholarship.  The Sutter Yuba Community Foundation invites applicants to apply for a scholarship to attend an accredited college or university.  This is a one-time $500 award to be granted to a graduating high school senior.  Minimum 2.0 overall GPA is required.  Deadline:  April 2, 2018.

Sarah Jackson Memorial Scholarship.  The Sutter Yuba Community Foundation invites applicants for the Sarah E. Jackson Memorial Scholarship for $750.  This scholarship will be awarded one time to a local high school senior who plans to attend college and major in Education or English. 

Deadline:  April 2, 2018.

Workforce Development Scholarship.  The Sutter Yuba Community Foundation invites applicants for the Workforce Development Award.  This is a one-time $500 award granted to a graduating high school senior seeking vocational training in an accredited technical or trade school program.  Two or four year schools are not included. Minimum 2.0 overall GPA is required.  Deadline:  April 2, 2018
John J. & Freda C. Monnot Scholarship Fund.  Applicant must graduate from a high school located within Yuba or Sutter County and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.  The recipient must provide proof of enrollment in at least 12 academic units per semester during the year of the scholarship award, an equivalent number of academic units per quarter if on a quarterly based system, or the full time participation in a trade school curriculum.  If you are a student who qualifies in all other respects and enrolled in less than 12 academic units per semester, the committee will accept your application and consider the extenuating circumstances that preclude your "full-time" enrollment.  Awards range in value from $100 to $5,000.  Deadline:  April 2, 2018.
Sutter-Yuba Association of Realtors - Bill McHugh, Sr. Memorial Scholarship.  In the interest of higher education and achievement of vocational goals for the young people of our community, the Sutter-Yuba Association of Realtors provides seniors $1,000 scholarships (four winners per county) a total of $8000. It is the intent of the Sutter-Yuba Association of Realtors that these scholarships provide both encouragement and financial assistance for deserving students seeking higher education. Be certain to explicitly follow the outlined procedures or the application will be eliminated from consideration.  Completed applications are to be returned to Mrs. Brown in the attendance office.   Deadline: April 9, 2018.

Agents of Change (AOC)  This scholarship opportunity is offered to high school seniors who will be attending any community, four-year, or vocational college for the Fall semester of 2015.  The AOC is a community service organization working in conjunction with Sutter-Yuba Friday Night Live.  The AOC will be awarding a $500.00 scholarship to one student from Yuba County and one student from Sutter County to help offset expenses associated with class registration and books.  Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA is required.  Deadline:  April 23, 2018

Soroptimist International of Lincoln- Monetary scholarship of $500.00 for two Wheatland High School females that have plans to further their education. Submit your application to Mrs. Brown by April 24, 2018.

Sonia Solley Scholarship- any cheerleader that is a senior who will be attending a college, university, vocational or technical school upon graduation. Deadline is May 4, 2018

Wheatland Junior Livestock Boosters
Scholarship applications are available to any graduating senior meeting the scholarship criteria that will be attending an institution of higher learning after graduation.  The scholarship application is open only to students that have participated in a livestock project through Wheatland 4-H or FFA.  Please return completed applications to Room D-3.  Deadline:  May 4, 2018
